This doesn't count as a project because it was just assembling something rather than building or installing, but people kept asking if I was going to do a blog post about it. To the right is what the table looked like for about 5 months. I didn't take a picture before I loaded the slate on, and I wasn't about to unload it just for a picture. The hardest part at this stage was deciding where to place the table in order to maximize the use of the gameroom without constricting play.

Here's the table with slate loaded. I had to shim each slate level and even with the next, then cover the joints with water putty and sand them down, which created a lot of super fine dust.
