Trenching was much quicker and much more fun with the machine. The rental yard had a few to select from, and I would definitely choose the bigger ride-on model again. Negotiating the slopes and tight passages was only a brief challenge.
Much easier than digging:
I was able to trench the entire backyard in about two hours.
