Server Room

After setting up the Bedroom Theater for for an Ethernet drop, I needed a Server Room to tie all my fixed wiring together.  I considered several options, but decided to hang a 19" rackmount bracket in this corner of the laundry room to hold my networking equipment.
Here I have Ethernet runs to the master bedroom and the office as well as a coax line for the cable modem.  This brush wall plate should allow for future expansion when I add more runs.
The rackmount bracket is hung on the wall and the two Ethernet lines are punched down into the patch bay.  Also the cable modem and router are wired.  I just need patch cables to connect the patch bay and the router and to do some more cable management.
Cable guys are lazy and would rather drill another hole in your wall than run back out to the truck to get a dual wall plate when adding a second cable drop to a bedroom.  I don't need two cable drops in this room so I've removed one.  I'll repair the smaller instance of cable guy vandalism and use a dual wall plate for the cable and Ethernet.
Cut out the drywall to accept a low-voltage ring and punch the Ethernet cable down onto the RJ45 receptacle.
Amy helped patch the hole, I will have to come back and paint it.

Cool! I have tons of patch cables. We'll have to hang out at some point and I can give you some.
